1. You

If you want to watch something without the kids around, then You is your show. You takes viewers on a thrill ride. Every episode has you sitting on the edge of your seat. You season 1 teaches you about obsession, selfishness and toxic relationships that you get addicted to. It also gives audiences a lesson on how we need to analyze friendships, affairs, and how to end them before they consume us.

You expresses how a charming, yet awkward, crush becomes an obsession when Joe, a bookstore manager, quickly starts getting involved with a writer named Beck. Joe starts to spy on Beck and takes capture of Beck’s old-flame by hiding him down in the bookstore. Joe becomes obsessed with Beck and is willing to kill anyone who gets in his way.

You is a show that most certainly captures the essence of the complexity of love and the lengths that some are able to go for love. It is a thrilling ride from beginning to the very last episode.

You’ll find yourself both loving Joe and his kind heart and selflessness, but also hating his guts and wanting him to go to jail. Penn Badgley is quite convincing, and his point of view makes the show as creepy as it can get. You season 2 comes out this month on Dec. 26 and honestly I can’t wait to see what Joe has been up to after all this time.
