2. Christmas Belle

Holidays can be extremely difficult without the ones you love and Christmas Belle exhibits how you may deal with losing a loved one. On Hulu, the movie is called Christmas Belle but, originally, it was known as A Fairstyle Christmas. Christmas Belle is a fun, modern, retelling of a fairytale that is safe and enjoyable viewing for the whole family.

Loosely based on Beauty and The Beast, a young woman named Isabella is hired to sell off a mansion by a grumpy young man named Hunter. Hunter sadly lost his wife many years ago and is still trying to grieve her. But with romance soon blossoming between Hunter and Isabella, will they get together or will her former flame ruin their relationship? There is plenty of realism to Isabella and Hunter’s relationship throughout the movie that makes it impossible not to root for them.

Now, Christmas Belle isn’t the same storyline as Beauty and The Beast, but has similar aspects and characters. The grumpiness Hunter feels towards any and everyone is similar to how the beast felt. Lucky enough, a beautiful princess comes and turns their world upside changing their hearts. It is a fun and predictable movie to enjoy with your family on Christmas Eve.
