With the decade nearly over, we decided to take a look back at every season of Big Brother we had this decade. In our look back, we decided to rank our 6 most legendary moves of the decade.

With the 2010s nearly over, we decided to reflect on every season of Big Brother that took place this decade. We knew that several incredibly dumb moves had been made over the years. With this in mind, we decided to rank the 6 most legendary moves of the decade. This will include both the Celebrity and Over the Top versions of Big Brother. Number 4 on our countdown is Andy Herren betraying Amanda and then framing Elissa Slater for it.

No. 4: Andy betrays Amanda, frames Elissa (Big Brother 15)

Amanda was the mastermind for the first 8 weeks of Big Brother 15. She was able to control the house through fear and intimidation tactics. Andy was one of Amanda’s closer allies in the house as Amanda was in an alliance with Andy, McCrae Olson (her showmance), and Aaryn Gries.

In week 10, GinaMarie Zimmerman won her 2nd HOH of the season. She nominated Amanda and McCrae for eviction. Thinking she had Andy’s vote (in addition to McCrae’s), Amanda worked to flip Elissa as she would’ve only needed 1 more vote to stay.

Unbeknownst to Amanda, Andy had turned on her in week 9, forming an alliance with GinaMarie Zimmerman, Judd Daughtery, and Spencer Clawson. The new alliance had their sights set on Amanda.

McCrae won the POV that week to save himself. To hide their new alliance, GinaMarie named Spencer the replacement nominee. At the live eviction, Elissa flipped her vote to evict Spencer. However, Andy betrayed Amanda by voting to evict her. This made the vote a 2-2 tie. As HOH, GinaMarie had to break the tie and she voted to evict Amanda.

Week 10 was also a double eviction. On the backend of the double eviction, McCrae won HOH and had revenge on his mind. Andy was able to successfully frame Elissa for betraying Amanda. As a result, McCrae nominated GinaMarie and Elissa for eviction. Judd then won the POV that round and chose not to use it. At the live eviction, Elissa was evicted 3-0.

This move checks in at No. 4 because well, it was brilliant on Andy’s part. I think the only reason it doesn’t get more love is because of how bad the season was as a whole and that the Big Brother community isn’t too fond of Andy. Fact of the matter is Andy was essentially able to kill 2 birds with 1 stone in impressive fashion all while protecting his new alliance.
