With the decade nearly over, we decided to take a look back at every season of Big Brother we had this decade. In our look back, we decided to rank our 5 most iconic players of the decade.

With the 2010’s nearly over, we decided to reflect on every season of Big Brother that took place this decade. There have been several players that could be considered iconic over the course of the decade. With this in mind, we decided to rank the 5 most iconic players of the decade. This will include both the Celebrity and Over the Top versions of Big Brother.

Our criteria for this list will include a number of different things. It will range from seasons played, to appearances on the show outside of playing, and the game they played during their respective season(s). Number 3 is Dan Gheesling from Big Brother 14.

No. 3: Dan Gheesling

You may be wondering: how could Dan possibly only be number 3 on this list? Well, If Big Brother 10 had happened this decade, Dan is easily number 1 or 2 on this list. Fact of the matter is: Dan played 2 of the most legendary seasons in Big Brother history. However, Season 10 took place in 2008 and this list takes into account seasons from the 2010’s only. That means I can’t count his appearance in Season 10 when ranking him on our countdown of the most legendary players from the 2010’s.

His game on Big Brother 14 was absolutely amazing. There is no word to describe it other than masterful. Dan made 2 of the most legendary moves the game has ever seen in one season. The first was Dan’s Funeral and the second was when he blindsided Shane at the final 4. He was also never on the block after the POV ceremony took place. As a result, he never received an eviction vote cast against him. In 2 seasons of Big Brother, Dan is the only player to play multiple seasons and not have a single eviction vote cast against them.

Dan also appeared on Big Brother Canada 1 when he visited the house for a sleep over. This made Dan the first player to ever to participate in an international version of the show in some capacity.
