Just like every other year, 2019 saw a number of characters die on screen. Some hit us more than others. Here were the 10 most shocking TV deaths.

When it comes to TV deaths, there are some that will always rock us more than others. They can because we don’t see them happening or because of the storyline surrounding the deaths. Just like every other year, 2019 delivered some shocking, heartbreaking deaths.

It’s time to look at each of those deaths. This is a chance to look back at the writing that broke us, the writing that left us wondering where our favorite characters would go next.

And in some cases, we were left with broken hearts because the deaths came at the end of seasons. Or they came during major moments that didn’t allow our characters to grieve them. Some of them were unconventional or mystical characters, but they still completely broke our hearts.
