Disenchantment Part 3

Synopsis: Matt Groening, the legendary creator of The Simpsons and Futurama, has another hit on his hands with Disenchantment. The fantasy web sitcom follows the story of Princess Bean (Abbi Jacobson), an alcoholic and rebellious 19-year-old from Dreamland. By her side are Luci (Eric Andre), Bean’s personal demon, and Elfo (Nat Faxon), an 18-year-old elf who is naive and optimistic.

Disenchantment Part 2 ended with a huge cliffhanger. Bean was accused of witchcraft and attempted murder of her father. Bean, Luci, and Elfo are sentenced to burn at the stake by a secret society called the Seekers. As they stand at the stake, the ground collapsed beneath them and the trio collapsed into an underground cave. The cave was full of mole men until a woman appeared. The mysterious woman was Bean’s mom, Queen Dagmar (Sharon Horgan).

Why you should stream Disenchantment Season 3: If you enjoy Groening’s form of comedy, then Disenchantment is a show up your alley. It’s the only production from Groening to appear exclusively as a Netflix show. So far, Netflix has released twenty episodes of the show. In October 2018, Disenchantment was renewed for twenty additional episodes. The first ten episodes, Part 3, will arrive in 2020. The second batch of ten episodes will appear sometime in 2021.
