Midsommar blew up the internet when it premiered in theaters July 3, 2019. Everyone took to social media to share how shocking and frightening this movie is. Sure, there were many jokes and memes created as well, but there’s no denying that this movie left everyone in the theater with something to talk about. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a truly brilliant film. From the stellar performance from Florence Pugh to the scenes that sent chills down our spine and the deep meaning behind it all, there’s a lot to love and appreciate about the movie.
