Peacock’s original programming hatching soon, launches with 2-day Peacock Live! fan event
Peacock: What original series and films will be available?
There are dozens of fan-favorite sitcoms and movies to be excited about, but there’s also a variety of original content to explore on the service. Peacock’s original dramas include Dr. Death, based on the true-crime podcast; a Battlestar Galactica reboot; a series based on the dystopian novel Brave New World; a limited series titled Angelyne; and One of Us Is Lying, based on the New York Times best-selling young adult mystery-thriller.
A slate of original comedies will also be made available, including Rutherford Falls and Straight Talk, along with reboots of Saved By the Bell and Punky Brewster, an all-new season of A.P. Bio and the movie Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, the second movie spin-off from the series Psych.
The streaming service also isn’t holding back on its unscripted programming. Fans can expect to find a new docu-series called Who Wrote That focused on the writers and cast of Saturday Night Live that dives into the writing process for popular sketches. There will also be an original talk show series with Jimmy Fallon, a weekly late-night show with Amber Ruffin, and a spin-off of The Real Housewives franchise.
NBCUniversal is kicking off the launch of Peacock with a 2-day event at Universal Studios. See what exclusive panels, activities, and immersive experiences will be available for fans:
