There’s a new episode of Supernatural Season 15 on Jan. 23. Get ready for the fun to commence. Here are the top takeaways from the Episode 10 promo.

After an intense midseason premiere that seems to restart everything against Chuck, Supernatural Season 15, Episode 10 looks to bring us something fun. Make sure you’re ready with this breakdown of the promo.

Based on the synopsis, I theorized that some of the events in an appa-teaser would crop up. All those moments showed up in the midseason premiere, so it’s left the possibility of the story wide open. However, when it says the Winchesters are running out of luck, it looks like they mean literally.

Check out the promo for Supernatural Season 15, Episode 10 below. Then we can get into the breakdown, which may or may not be spoilery for you. It depends on what you believe is a spoiler.

5. Garth is out of the trunk

The last time we saw Garth, he’d been placed in the trunk of the Impala. Michael had forced him to turn and charge against the Winchesters. However, Michael is now gone and Garth has been freed from captivity.

He’s back in this episode. What’s he been up to and is Michael’s grace still inside Garth? Does he have any extra powers now?

4. Normal people problems

We’re used to seeing the Winchester brothers face supernatural problems. Now it’s time for them to face normal problems. Credit cards are declined, Dean has to go to the dentist, and more. This is going to be an intriguing episode, but what’s really going on?

3. A case of bad luck?

We know that the episode can’t just be something normal, right? There has to be something unnatural about things. It looks like a case of bad luck, but will this involve witches or some sort of cursed object? There isn’t really any sort of clue in the promo, but deep down, we know there’s something, right?

2. A reminder of Supernatural Season 3

I just can’t help but flashback to “Bad Day at Black Rock” when watching this promo. It reminds me of the rabbit’s foot and all the bad luck that poor Sammy faced. However, this time, it looks like Dean is the one facing most of the bad luck.

The question goes back to why. Could he have a lucky-unlucky rabbit’s foot somewhere?

1. A lighthearted, monster-of-the-week episode

Something that’s clear is that the Winchesters are getting just a good, old-fashioned monster-of-the-week episode. It’s arguably needed after the intense episode against Chuck. We need to see the brothers regroup, and I’m guessing they head to Garth mostly for some sort of help against Chuck before running into the monster-of-the-week problem.

This would help to keep the main storyline in focus without actually being a main part of the episode. However, will we get Billie and Jack’s storyline as a side story throughout or is it just the Winchester brothers?
