Firehouse 51 struggles to get to calls because of false alarms. Here’s how to watch Chicago Fire Season 8, Episode 12 live and what to expect.

Firehouse 51 is called to a school during a series of false alarms. Just what can this mean for others when the firefighters are called away? We’re about to find out in Chicago Fire Season 8, Episode 12. Here’s what to expect and how to watch live.

We all know that pulling the fire alarm or making prank calls to 9-1-1 is wrong. In fact, it’s illegal. But that’s not stopping someone in a private school. What is it with private school kids thinking they can be obnoxious [insert your own favorite word here]? (Note: I was educated in private school for a short time and yes, there are certainly some arrogant, obnoxious people because of their entitled views. But I digress!)

More from NBC

Well, the false alarms lead to Firehouse 51 not being able to make the real calls. They have to attend every call as if it’s real, because you really never know. But it’s dangerous and annoying to attend constant false alarms. You know Boden, Casey, and Severide will want to get to the bottom of the calls.

I’m intrigued at how much disruption the show is going to offer with these false alarms. Will we see the knock-on effects with other firehouses, such as Firehouse 20?

Meanwhile, there are a few personal storylines going on throughout Chicago Fire Season 8, Episode 12. It’s Severide’s birthday and Kidd wants to do something special. She did just witness him make a point of turning Seager down, wanting to spend time with her instead. It was a perfect moment, especially as we saw Stella start to get anxious and jealous of Seager.

Finally, it’s time to see Cruz and Brett make the decision to rent out the third room. This isn’t going to be easy for any of us to see. It’s that extra nail to remind us that Otis is gone. Just what is this new roommate going to do and can Brett and Cruz deal with it?

Check out the promo and synopsis for Chicago Fire Season 8, Episode 12 below:

"A series of false alarms at a private school hinders 51’s ability to respond to legitimate emergencies; Kidd asks for ideas to surprise Severide on his birthday; Cruz and Brett rent out their extra room but get more than they bargained for."
