Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: 5 things to remember for Part 3

Brush up on all the juicy details from previous seasons of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, before you get ready to binge Part 3.

Get ready to binge because The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3 is coming to Netflix on Jan. 24. From the looks of the last trailer, Greendale will not be ridding itself of witches and satanic rituals anytime soon. Sabrina may no longer have to worry about appeasing Lucifer Morningstar or Faustus Blackwood, but she still has an agenda to go to Hell and back, literally. In her latest mission, Sabrina intends to rescue her boyfriend from Hell with the help of her mortal friends.

As expected, traveling to the hot depths of the darkest realm known to man is not going to be easy. There will be demons and new villains to consider in addition to Lucifer himself, who is aching to be released from his prison within Nicholas Scratch’s body. All that being said, everything that happened at the end of Part 2 is vital in understanding where the gang stands in the latest installment.

According to Lillith, the human body is the strongest prison for someone as powerful as Lucifer. Nick sacrificed himself to save Sabrina from having to marry her father and rule the world at his side. Lillith then dragged Nick back to Hell with her, where we must assume she will help him manage the imprisoned Lucifer.

Lilith is the Queen of Hell

After spending an eternity waiting for Lucifer to come through on his promise to make Lillith Queen of Hell, Lillith becomes queen without his help. The good thing is that Lillith doesn’t have to rule subserviently to anyone. She is the head honcho in charge of all that burns and smells of sulfur. I’m not sure what Hell’s royalty has assigned as duties but can guarantee that Lillith is giving orders on a pristine throne somewhere.

Zelda is the new High Priestess

With Blackwood out of the way, Zelda has taken the post of High priestess of the Church of…Lillith? Since there is no Lucifer to worship, the Church of Night may be praising the woman that now runs things below. Zelda suggested as much when she first crowned herself.  We can inevitably cross our fingers that the witches now worship a woman and that The Church is far from the misogynistic catastrophe that Blackwood was running.

Ambrose and Prudence plan to hunt down Blackwood

Blackwood escaped into the night once everyone realized he was a sham and tried to kill his own congregation. However, Blackwood is not alone. He took his twin babies with him, and Prudence is determined to get her siblings back.

Ambrose, who realized Blackwood killed his boyfriend and then framed him for killing the Anti Pope, agreed to join Prudence on her quest. Ambrose and Prudence intend to rescue the babies and bring Blackwood to justice. Despite the demotion, it will be a real challenge to capture Blackwood, considering that he’s such a talented witch.

Sabrina plans to save Nick

Nick may have volunteered to be the vessel that carried Lucifer, but Sabrina is not having it. She wants her boyfriend back in her life and is willing to travel to Hell to get him back. That being said, Sabrina will also have to figure out what to do with Lucifer once she frees Nick.

Luckily Sabrina’s plans materialized at the diner while surrounded by Ros, Harvey, and Theo. Sabrina’s mortal friends will be in on the project to save Nick and surely will help in figuring out how to conquer Lucifer.
