The hysterical Jonah Hill has starred in many hilarious films throughout his esteemed career. Let’s look at some of his funniest works thus far.

Jonah Hill has made his presence known in Hollywood ever since the mid-2000s. The 36-year-old actor is among the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Hill got his first movie role in the 2004 film I Love Huckabees.

Whether it’s his quirky lines or unique personality, Hill has never failed to entertain audiences. The actor is a multi-dimensional talent and is also a comedian, writer, and producer.

Hill’s stellar acting has led him to be in consideration for prestigious accolades such as Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Teen Choice Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. It certainly won’t be long before fans see the comic in another funny feature film.

For now, let’s look at some of the entertainer’s funniest films thus far:

Superbad (2007)

Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera) are not exactly the jocks or popular kids in their high school. Now about to graduate, they realize it’s now or never in terms of living it up. After Seth’s crush Jules (Emma Stone) calls him to her party, he and Evan, in turn, agree to buy alcohol for the bash.

Seth agrees to do it for Jules and Evan agrees to do it for his love interest Becca (Martha MacIsaac). The problem for the two teens is they must consult another guy named Fogell (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) to buy the booze because he has the fake ID.

The trio heads to the liquor store where Fogell, or McLovin’, (which has turned into a renowned name) attempts to buy the liquor only to see the store get robbed and have the cops show up. Now, Seth and Evan don’t want to get caught (though McLovin’ isn’t really in trouble) and embark by foot to score the drinks and get to the party on time. It’s an epic adventure right before the end of high school for two friends who have been missing out as they try to turn a super bad situation into a super good one!

21 Jump Street (2012)

One of the more popular films of the 2010s, 21 Jump Street (based on the 1980s TV series) was filled with friendships, action, and tons of laughs. Morton Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Greg Jenko (Channing Tatum) were complete opposites when they were in high school.

Now adults, the duo crosses paths for a second time as both try to become cops. They are paired together and their first mission involves going undercover at a high school to find the supplier of a drug called HFS.

Now forced to relive old memories, Schmidt and Jenko disguise themselves as students and try to sort out this case. Though they are dedicated to their task at hand, the amateurs find themselves increasingly more in character and acting like childish high schoolers as time passes, which may hinder their real-life assignment. This film also stars Rob Riggle, Nick Offerman, Dave Franco, Brie Larson, and Ice Cube.

22 Jump Street (2014)

Cops Morton Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Greg Jenko (Channing Tatum) return to the scene of another drug operation, this time on 22 Jump Street rather than 21. When their captain (Ice Cube) puts them on another mission masquerading as college kids to find the drug kingpin of WHY-PHY, it’s back to business (joking around) for the duo.

The stakes are higher this time, and the excitement is too. Immersed in college life, Jenko and Schmidt bask in a life filled with bros, parties, and girls, but their friendship becomes strained. Making things worse is the fact that they keep reaching dead ends in their case, losing time and their reputation as each minute passes. This film also features Nick Offerman, Amber Stevens West, Jillian Bell, and Wyatt Russell.
