Off the back of the two-hour crossover with Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19 brings its first standalone episode of Season 3. Here’s how to watch live.

Station 19 Season 3, Episode 2 is the first standalone episode of the season. Coming off the back of the Grey’s Anatomy crossover, it’s offering a chance to delve deeper into the lives of the crew. Here’s how to watch the episode and what to expect during it.

Titled “Indoor Fireworks,” it should be taken both literally and figuratively. The literal part is a set of fireworks that will go off inside a store. Ben attends to the call and suffers some painful memories of the past. It’s not clear whether this is a past we’ve seen before or something that’s happened in his childhood, but it will hopefully, give us a chance to learn even more about him. I feel like we’ve still only just scratched the surface.

One thing is for certain: Ben is going to go against a direct order. This could certainly lead to the reason he has to rethink his career.

Meanwhile, there’s a new fire chief, and the crew is skeptical, causing the figurative fireworks. It’s not clear just why that is the case, but it does lead to Maya advocating for herself and her career. During the end of the last episode, Maya chose to break up with Jack for her career after overhearing the argument between Andy and Capt. Herrera.

Speaking of Andy, she has some big decisions to make. It sounds like she turns to Ryan to help with this. It will be interesting to see what he’s been up to during the hiatus since he wasn’t spotted in the Season 3 premiere.
