Supernatural brought us some much needed comic relief in Season 15, Episode 10. From tap dancing to lactose intolerance, top moments just kept coming in this one.

Before you continue, be aware that this post contains spoilers, as we discuss some of what we saw in the latest episode of Supernatural. If you haven’t had the chance to watch “The Heroes’ Journey” yet, you can still head over to The CW app to catch the full episode before you go on.

This episode was packed with comical turns. From the start, it was mishaps galore. I did have a favorite moment, and you’ll see that in the list that follows. But there were so many that didn’t make this short cut of favorites, so I hope you got the chance to watch it, maybe more than once!

More from Supernatural

Another great thing about this episode of Supernatural was that we got to say goodbye to another character, but this time, it wasn’t with a death. Along came our first taste of happily ever after, or so we are left to believe.

Of course, I say that with the presumption that we haven’t seen the last of Eileen. We’ll know about that later.

This is the second episode in a row that we’ve learned a few reasons why it may not be all bad to have Chuck on your side. Free will means everything, but if it’s all or nothing, there’s more to worry about than just monsters when God isn’t your biggest fan.

So look out, “Yellow Fever,” because “The Heroes’ Journey” is gunning for the win.

He doesn’t have to be out to get you to demonstrate what life without Chuck can mean. Is this episode his way of further proving that to our heroes? I certainly had to question whether or not Loki the Trickster had come back to town.

Even though the Winchesters may be annoyed that God was sticking his hand in their business all the time, there may have been some benefits, as well. Can they navigate life without his almighty interference? It will certainly be a switch from what they (and we) have always known.

5. Dancing Dean

Supernatural did us all a solid and gave us a peek at one of Jensen Ackles’ other gifts when he sang a duet back in Episode 7. I love that they were showcasing some of his other talents, since he, most of the cast and crew of Supernatural, has many. Happily, this episode followed suit when they showed us that apparently, Dean is a dancer.

Although Sam later mentioned that Dean was pretty gifted with the Macarena as well, (please, please give us a video of this), tap dancing Dean was a sight to see. The internet has already gone crazy about it and it’s with good reason.

Black and white was the perfect touch. Dean drifted off in Garth’s dental chair, (who, by the way, joined him for the dance), into a Fred Astaire-esque performance. From getting fancy with a floor lamp to ending up on top of the map table in the bunker, I wish I had been a fly on the wall when they were shooting these scenes.

Sure, I may be biased since I spent a few years tapping in my youth. But I can tell you these moves aren’t easy to learn and execute by any means. In the end, the way he held the tip of his hat and bowed his head to the side as the screen blacked out, guaranteed this as a newly minted classic.
