For the first time in a long time, Dr. Pimple Popper gets sprayed! Additionally, blood becomes a factor more than mystery juices.

Long time watchers of Dr. Pimple Popper can almost make amateur diagnoses at this point. That’s a lipoma. The other one is a cyst. When we get new cases, however, it’s time to get excited.

This may be the week when something totally off the wall enters the pimple popping world, and Dr. Lee has to dip into a bag of heretofore unseen treatment options.

3. Gerard’s lumps

In Gerard’s 30’s the bumps weren’t that bad. In his 40’s, however, they’re getting worse and worse. Bigger. Juicier. He’s got a young Telly Savalas vibe, and used to be proud of his body. Now, he can’t even look at himself. It’s odd, though, because they’re barely noticeable compared to several other patients on Dr. Pimple Popper.

I’m calling these lipomas, and the sacs have never been removed.

Unfortunately, Gerard has Factor V Leiden, which increases the chance of blood clots. And Dr. Lee is not willing to do too much work on him for fear of causing blood clots. Nonetheless, she cuts him open for lipoma removal (called it).

Final count: 16 hunks of raw chicken get removed, and Dr. Lee does a horrible NY accent.

2. Eric’s volcano

He calls it the on/off button, and his daughter thinks it’s funny. He is worried about something going wrong, which restricts him from ice-skating with his daughter. It doesn’t make sense to me, either. It’s obviously a cyst, and Dr. Lee diagnoses it specifically as a pilar cyst.

Dr. Lee makes a HUGE mistake. Where is the splash shield!? She squeezes this dude’s bump and a mix between dirty butter and recycled Elmer’s glue fires over a foot onto her bare forearm. I imagine it feels similar to the following:

1. Gina’s lesions

Upon first inspection, Gina’s condition looks like Vitiligo. She thinks there is something under the skin trying to surface. For some reason, she’s semi-debilitated, and has her daughter care for her quite often. Full disclosure, her daughter wants Gina to stop picking and scratching, which obviously causes sensitivity.

Gina has been told by more than one dermatologist that she’s picking and scratching a lot. One doctor told her she has OCD and won’t stop scratching. Unfortunately, for Gina, Dr. Lee tells her it’s all in her hands, literally. Gina tells Dr. Lee she disagrees. It’s likely Gina frequently participates on anti-vaccination pages as well.

It should come as no surprise that the follow-up segment shows her questioning Dr. Lee’s diagnosis, while scratching, and planning to meet other doctors, while rubbing. And also picking.

Dr. Pimple Popper returns next Thursday with stuff that reminds you of the AVP: Alien vs. Predator movie.
