The Stranger on Netflix gives viewers a large dose of drama and mystery. Here are the biggest secrets revealed in the British mystery thriller.

Every now and then, Netflix releases what we classify as trash TV gold! A series (or film) so dramatic, so ridiculous, so…addicting, we can’t get enough! The Stranger is the latest to deliver in this category and we shamelessly binge-watched it all over the weekend. It premiered Jan. 31 and viewers were quick to watch all eight episodes, because once you start, you just can’t stop!

The Stranger stars Richard Armitage, Siobhan Finneran, Hannah John-Kame, and others. The series follows Adam Price (Armitage) as “The Stranger” (John-Kame) approaches him with a secret about his wife Corrine (Dervla Kirwan). This secret changes everything about their relationship and Adam demands answers.

Corinne promises to explain, but begs for some time. Events quickly spiral out of control as more secrets and revelations come to light. Before we go in any further, please note there are huge spoilers ahead if you are not caught up on The Stranger! Finish the series first before reading on.

The Stranger begins by hinting that supernatural events are happening. There’s a setting of teens gathered around a fire and creepy, dead alpacas. But as we continue to watch, events become more real. As it turns out, nothing out of this world was happening, just awful communication between friends and partners. Corinne Price: Yes, Corinne did lie about being pregnant. She loved the attention and felt she wasn’t being “loved” enough by her husband, Adam. Faking a pregnancy did the trick. Adam stayed with her and they were happy. This was incredibly selfish of her, but she did pay the ultimate price for the lie.

The Stranger: The Stranger ends up being Adam’s sister! Well, half-sibling. Her mom is one of the women Adam’s father had an affair with. She tracked down her father, Ed (Anthony Head), to confront him. When she learns about Corinne’s lie, she tells Adam thinking that it was best for him to know about Corinne, as she cares about her brother.

Tripp: Corinne believes it was Tripp (Shaun Dooley) who reveals her secret to Adam, so she confronts him. Tripp and Corinne were already angry at each other over Tripp stealing money from the school’s club, something Corinne knew and tried to work out with him, for his sake. When they meet and Corinne tells him that his time is up to confess, Tripp kills her.

John Katz: In the end, Katz (Paul Kaye) is framed for Tripp (Adam kills him) and Corinne’s murders, as well as charged guilty for killing. Heidi (Jennifer Saunders).
