Monday TV ratings: 9-1-1: Lone Star up, All Rise down
The intense episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star brought in a big uptick in viewers. However, All Rise saw another dip. Here’s a look at the Feb. 3 TV ratings.
9-1-1: Lone Star brought the tornado episode we’d all been waiting for, and that certainly showed in the TV ratings. The Bachelor and All Rise saw dips. Here’s a look at how all your favorite shows fared on Feb. 3.
All eyes were going to be on the 9-1-1: Lone Star episode that focused on the damage tornados can do, right? Well, okay, not all eyes, but it was a good episode in terms of the ratings. With a 34% uptick in the demo and 13% uptick in the audience, both figures came in second for the night. It continues to prove successful on Mondays for FOX and will more than likely be renewed for a second season.

FOX’s good night continued with Prodigal Son, which saw a 25% uptick in the demo and 14% uptick in the audience. The demo was the best of the timeslot, with the audience the second best. It was certainly a thrilling and entertaining episode that reminded me of the very first episodes. I still think this series is safe.
ABC’s night wasn’t as strong, but still nothing to grumble about. The three-hour Bachelor episode saw a small dip in both metrics (around 6% in both), but the demo was the best of the entire night at a 1.5 ratings. This show is getting renewed for another season.
As for NBC, America’s Got Talent: The Champions also dipped in both metrics, but it’s nothing to be concerned about. The total audience may have dropped 7.8% but it was the highest of the entire night at 6.78 million. The demo was the third-best of the whole night at 1.1, despite the also 7.8% drop.
Things were mixed for Manifest, with the audience losing 5% but the demo gaining 12%. This is a series I continue to be on the fence about right now. With this demo, though, it was the best for the timeslot and suggests a renewal.
CBS had a mixed night in the Monday TV ratings. The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts Abishola, and All Rise were all down in all metrics. However, the two comedies aren’t anything to be concerned about. The Neighborhood was the best for CBS of the night despite the dips, and the total audience was the fourth-best of the entire night across all metrics. Bob Hearts Abishola wasn’t too far behind.
Bull was steady in the demo and up in the audience by 7%, pulling in the third-best audience of the whole night. I think this series is getting renewed for a fifth season, especially being a CBS Studios series.
The only CBS show on a Monday I’m concerned about is All Rise. The 5% dip in the demo isn’t a series low, but it is still on the low side. While the series started out strong, it now sits in the bottom four of shows. While Bull is only just ahead of it, that series has the benefit of already having four seasons and CBS will want to get it to 100 episodes for syndication. All Rise is in its first season and already struggling. CBS will likely want to see if another new series can perform better in the 2020-2021 season.
