With Big Brother Canada 8 on the horizon, we decided to look back at our most recent season. We will be going down the list of every Big Brother Canada 7 and detailing their best moves. Here are Samantha Picco’s best moves.

Samantha was part of a showmance this season with Adam Pike, known collectively as Sadam. They are still together today. During her time on Big Brother Canada 7, Samantha provided the main opposition to the Pretty Boys.

In week 1, Samantha failed to win HOH but was able to remain safe. During this period, she formed key relationships with Adam, Chelsea Bird, and Kyra Shenker. At the eviction, she helped take out Laura Roberts in an 11-0 vote.

In week 2, Samantha was able to remain safe again despite not winning HOH. Here, she helped take out Maki Moto.

In week 3, Samantha’s ally Chelsea won HOH. Chelsea chose to nominate Damien Ketlo and Kiera Wallace for eviction. Samantha won the POV that week and chose to use it on Kiera. This allowed Chelsea to backdoor Kailyn Archer.

Towards the end of the week, Samantha overheard Dane Rupert talking with her showmance Adam about the Pretty Boys alliance. She ran the information about a possible boys’ alliance and ran it to her ally Chelsea. After Kailyn was evicted, Chelsea tried to rally numbers for a women’s alliance. However, Kiera didn’t trust her and ran the information to Dane, putting a big target on Chelsea and Samantha’s backs.

Week 4 brought a double eviction. Dane won the first HOH Competition of the week after defeating Samantha. He nominated Chelsea alongside Kyra for eviction. Cory Kennedy won the POV that week and chose not to use it. Samantha lost one of her closest allies when Chelsea was evicted in a 9-0 vote.

Adam won HOH on the back end of the double eviction. Samantha helped Adam take out Eddie Lin in an 8-0 vote.

In week 5, Samantha won HOH and nominated Kiera alongside Mark Drellich for eviction. Adam Pike won the POV that week chose not to use it. In between the POV Competition and ceremony, Dane hatched a plan to backdoor Cory Kennedy, which ultimately failed. Word of this plan eventually got to Cory. Kiera was voted out in a 5-1 vote. Kyra had a chance to overturn the POV results by using their Blood Veto but chose not to do so to honor their earlier promise.

In week 6, Cory won HOH and was out to evict whoever tried to backdoor her the previous week. Cory nominated Dane alongside his showmance Estefania Hoyos for eviction, suspecting it might’ve been Dane. However, Dane won the POV to save himself that week.

Knowing Cory needed a replacement nominee, Anthony was successfully able to pin the backdoor plot on Samantha. As a result, Cory named Samantha the replacement nominee. Samantha was evicted in a 5-1 vote, making her the first member of the jury. The lone vote to keep Samantha came from Adam. Samantha cast her jury vote for Dane to win on finale night.

Samantha’s best moves

Samantha’s best move was getting into her showmance with Adam. It helped carry her as far as it did. In an ordinary season of Big Brother Canada, they might’ve been able to dominate the season and go all the way together as the showmance strategy has proven to be effective. With the Pretty Boys, that wasn’t going to be the case.
