Watch Riverdale Season 4, Episode 12 live online

In the latest episode of Riverdale, Lucy Hale guest stars as Katy Keene as Veronica visits New York City and Betty gets closer to the truth.

Before The CW premieres the highly anticipated new Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene this Thursday, get ready to meet the star of the show as Lucy Hale makes a pit stop to introduce the character. Veronica takes a trip to New York City, where she catches up with her old pal Katy (but apparently doesn’t make the time to see Josie). Maybe Veronica’s too busy networking and meeting important people to continue to take her and Cheryl’s new business ventures to the next level.

Back in Riverdale, Betty recruits Alice’s help in investigating her post-quiz show predicament. Their investigation into strange incidents at Stonewall leads them down a thorny road with their leading suspect, who may or may not be Bret. Speaking of Bret, Jughead challenges his frenemy to a duel to settle their increasing differences, which should be as crazy as it sounds. Also, Toni and Fangs are the latest duo to seek revenge on Nick St. Clair, while Archie’s concern for Uncle Frank mounts when a person from his past comes to town and stirs up trouble.

What business does Veronica have to attend to in New York City? Is it related to her rum endeavors, or is she simply visiting Katy Keene? What do their scenes reveal about the spin-off? Does Lucy Hale’s appearance set up the new series, which takes place years into the future?

Why are Betty and Alice turning their investigation to Stonewall? What striking information do they learn, and just who is their leading suspect? Will they uncover any dirt on Bret? What does Jughead hope to accomplish with his duel with Bret? What beef do Toni and Fangs have with Nick St. Clair? And who from Frank’s past has Archie feeling uneasy?
