Disney Plus has such a wide variety of movies especially if you’re looking for some Galentine’s Day plans. Here are 5 DCOMs you can watch with your girls.

While most people look at February as the month of love, others look at it from a different perspective. Yes, Valentine’s Day is a great day to show your loved one how much you care and value them. However, Galentine’s Day, which is celebrated on Feb. 13, has almost taken over the holiday of love.

Created by Leslie Knope of Parks and Recreation, Galentine’s Day is a day to celebrate the women in your life, or as Leslie says: “ladies celebrating ladies.” It might have only come to fruition in the last decade, but Galentine’s Day has become a full-fledged holiday for some. Even companies like Target and Hallmark are cashing in so you know it’s a big deal then.

Personally, I think that Galentine’s Day is easily one of the best most underappreciated holidays and should be celebrated the same as Valentine’s Day. Thankfully, a lot of people share the same view.

The holiday has become a way for ladies and their friends to get together to celebrate each other. Some have parties, go out to dinner or simply, spend some time on Facetime together. Either way, there’s no right or wrong way to celebrate Galentine’s Day as long as you’re showing your girls some appreciation.

For most of us, though, Galentine’s Day is going to be a day to do what we usually do. We order food, watch Netflix and drink wine. This year, there are a lot more streaming options if you’re planning to go that route. Most notably, Disney+ came out at the end of 2019 and brought back some of your childhood favorites.

If you’re planning on queueing up some Disney+ for Galentine’s Day, then these five Disney Channel Original movies are a must-watch.
