We’re past the halfway point of Riverdale’s fourth season, and the light at the end of the tunnel still remains far from view. If you think you have this season’s many mysteries all tied together and figured out, please let us cheat off of your homework. Last week, Betty’s investigation into Bret led to some startling revelations about Mr. Chipping, which now has our teen sleuth zeroed in on Donna. She’s been sketchy from the start, and it’s about time someone has finally been clued in. But let’s just hope Betty doesn’t start to let her guard down around Bret.

Elsewhere in the latest episode of Riverdale, Jughead’s standing at Stonewall Prep goes shaky after accusations hurled his way dampen his reputation and future. Hiram’s future, too, looks grim, after getting hit with health woes last week. We’re not shedding a single tear over him, since he’s more than likely lying to get pity from Veronica, and she’s falling right in his trap. But while she questions everything, Archie turns to his girlfriend’s ill father for advice about the future. When will he and Veronica ever learn not to trust that wolf in wolf’s clothing?
