Where can you stream Sonic the Hedgehog movie?

Sonic the Hedgehog is now playing in theaters, but where can you stream it from home once it leaves the big screen?
Sonic the Hedgehog is the biggest surprise of the year (so far). It went from being a questionable movie we were ready to hate one after the first set of previews and trailer. I am still not over how the first Sonic had teeth, yikes! The work put in by the film’s VFX artists can never be fully rewarded, they did amazing!
Fans still went to theaters to check out the movie, but we were all skeptical and went in cautiously optimistic. Happy to say the movie pleasantly surprised us all. Sonic the Hedgehog is a must-see family movie, and audiences agree! The movie has a 94% audience score at Rotten Tomatoes.
Whether you would still rather wait to stream the movie from home or are waiting for it to arrive on a streaming service to re-watch it, here’s when and where you can stream it!

Where to stream it: Sonic the Hedgehog is distributed by Paramount Pictures, and, unfortunately, we’re never sure where these movies go to. The majority end up streaming on HBO, but a few go to Netflix. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know where the movie will go.
When can you stream it: Typically it takes about 8-12 months after the premiere date to find the movie on a streaming service, it all depends on the movie. If it takes a year, though, it’ll stream early spring 2021.
