Monday TV ratings: Manifest up, All Rise down
Manifest’s climactic episode saw a tick up in the Monday TV ratings. Meanwhile, All Rise fell again. Here’s a look at the Feb. 17 ratings.
Monday’s programs performed well, for the most part. The majority of shows saw upward ticks in the Monday TV ratings. However, there were a few that ticked down and are still waiting for a renewal decision. Here’s a look at the Feb. 17 ratings and what they could mean.
Unsurprisingly, America’s Got Talent: The Champions ticked up. Both the demo and total audience were up with healthy figures as fans wanted to see who would win. That upward tick helped Manifest, which has admittedly been struggling this season. Manifest‘s climactic episode ticked up 7% in the demo and 2% in the total audience. AGT is safe, but I’m still on the fence about the future of Manifest, despite really wanting it to land a third season.

Meanwhile, The Bachelor ticked up for the hometown dates. Once again, the demo was at the highest of the night. With this show likely safe, the ratings helped to keep The Good Doctor‘s demo high. While the medical drama did see a downward tick in the audience, there’s nothing to worry about. The show has already been renewed for a fourth season.
FOX has two shows that are still uncertain, but it looks like both will be renewed. 9-1-1: Lone Star and Prodigal Son saw good upward ticks. The former pulled in the best demo and audience out of all the scripted shows of the night, with Prodigal Son pulling in the best demo for the timeslot.
CBS had some mixed results in the Monday TV ratings. Once again, the comedy block performed well. Both The Neighborhood and Bob Hearts Abishola saw upward ticks in both metrics. There’s little to worry about when it comes to these shows.
The ones we do worry about are All Rise and Bull. Both shows saw downward ticks in the both metrics. However, I don’t think there’s too much to worry about with Bull. It continues to be strong in the audience in the timeslot and overall throughout the night. It’s also a CBS Studios production, which helps to keep the costs down.
CBS will need to make some room for new pilots. All Rise is a freshman show that has been inconsistent despite a promising start and I think this is the one that’s going to be canceled out of all others.
