I Still Love You (also known as To All The Boys 2).
To All The Boys 2 is the sequel to 2018’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. Based on the book series by Jenny Han, To All The Boys 2 continues the story of Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and the trials and tribulations of her love life. To All The Boys 2 picks up with the blossoming relationship between Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo).
Lara Jean prepares herself for a series of firsts with Peter – her first real date, her first Valentine’s Day, and her first true kiss. However, things get complicated when John Ambrose McClaren (Jordan Fisher), a recipient of Lara Jean’s love letter, returns to town and reignites their friendship. However, Lara Jean begins to develop romantic feelings for John Ambrose as her relationship with Peter experiences a rough patch. Now, Lara Jean is forced to choose between Peter and John Ambrose.

2018 was a big comeback year for romantic comedies on Netflix. One of those 2018 films that ushered in a new era for Netflix was Set It Up. In the film, Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell play two underappreciated assistants who devise a scheme to set up their respective bosses on dates in New York City. Thanks to the magnetic chemistry between Deutch and Powell, Set It Up received favorable reviews from critics and proved that romantic comedies are not dead just yet.
The Edge of Seventeen
One of the more underrated films of the last five years is 2016’s The Edge of Seventeen. The film stars Hailee Steinfeld as Nadine, a 17-year-old junior who runs into a problem when her best friend starts dating her older brother. In response to this, Nadine begins to rebel and attempt to make new friends in order to become more popular. The Edge of Seventeen is a sweet coming-of-age film that would make John Hughes proud.
