It was a good night for the majority of TV on Feb. 20. The TGIT lineup was up, Tommy and Katy Keene performed well, and more. Here are the TV ratings.

Things were looking good in the Thursday TV ratings for Feb. 20. The majority of shows saw upward ticks, with some of those ticks being in double figures. It makes the dips even more disappointing. Here’s a look at the results for the night.

While there are complaints from some about Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy constantly crossing over, which was something we were warned about well in advance. It’s also proving successful for the TGIT lineup. Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy ticked up in both total audience and demo. In fact, as Grey’s Anatomy took the top spot for the demo, Station 19 was joint second. The firefighter drama also had a larger total viewer amount compared to its medical drama parent show.

More from Ratings

A Million Little Things remained steady with a minor uptick in the total ratings. It’s a good sign for the entire lineup. While we know Grey’s Anatomy is safe, Station 19 and A Million Little Things will likely be renewed.

ABC wasn’t the only network with positive results. NBC saw Brooklyn Nine-Nine finally tick up. While we don’t have to worry about the already-renewed series, it has been disappointing to see the downward ticks in recent weeks.

Indebted is the show to worry about the most, but saw a 33% upward tick in the demo. Is it going to be enough to land a second season?

Speaking of second seasons, we’re keeping a close eye on Tommy, Katy Keene, Deputy, Outmatched, and the CBS comedies The Unicorn and Carol’s Second Act. For the most part, the ratings were good. Katy Keene ticked up in the audience but the TV ratings are still on the low side, even for The CW, while Tommy pulled in the top viewership for the timeslot.

The Unicorn slipped 12% in the demo, but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Carol’s Second Act‘s slip in the total audience by 2% is also nothing to be too overly concerned about right now. I have a feeling the two shows will stick around.

Outmatched and Deputy need to be watched carefully. Both FOX shows aren’t benefitting from the Last Man Standing lead-in (which was up 16% in the demo and 13% in the total audience this week). Outmatched was steady in the demo but slipped almost 5% in the total audience, while Deputy‘s steady demo may not be enough with the 3% dip in total audience.
