In the latest episode of Riverdale, will the night in the woods find Betty, Archie, and Veronica wondering how to get away with Jughead’s murder?
Finally, Riverdale has caught up to Season 4’s flash-forwards, and the real mystery begins. Last week, that fateful night in the woods, which finds Betty standing over Jughead’s seemingly lifeless body with a rock, arrived and left Archie and Veronica shaken. Of course, knowing the events that led up to this moment, millions of questions have arisen, and most of them have to do with Betty. There’s no way she actually killed Jughead, her very serious boyfriend, right? Right?!
This week on Riverdale, the action picks up right where the night in the woods left off, and Betty, Archie, and Veronica must confront what happened and what a certain someone might be capable of doing. With any luck, we’ll receive answers about what ensued between Betty and Donna before Archie and Veronica found Betty standing over Jughead and catch up with the Season 3 cliffhanger of Betty, Archie, and Veronica ditching their bloodied clothes into the fire.

Of course, with the recent announcement that Skeet Ulrich will be leaving the series at the end of the season, that doesn’t sound like reassuring news for Jughead’s fate. Is Jug really dead, or is there some kind of secret plot to fake his death and take down the Stonewall kids?
What new word triggers Betty? Did Betty actually hit Jughead over the head with the rock, or did Donna make Betty go fugue, whack Jug, and pin it on Betty? What will Betty, Archie, and Veronica do with Jughead’s body? Are they going to do as the episode title says and get away with murder?
