Love is Blind season 1 finale: Which couples got married, which didn’t, and why?
By Sandy C.
The Love is Blind season 1 finale is now streaming on Netflix and I have to say I’m surprised by the results! Not too shocked, though! Here’s why the couples said “I do,” and why some didn’t. Spoilers ahead!
Have you already watched the season 1 finale of Love is Blind on Netflix? It was first on our to-do list this morning! Now that we are all caught up, let’s breakdown which couples got married and which had to say “I do NOT.” Were your predictions correct?
Giannina and Damina: Wasting no time, the finale picked up right where it left us — All eyes were on Damian! Giannina has said “I do,” but Damian seems hesitant. It doesn’t help that Giannina is obviously the runaway bride. As it turns out, we were correct. Damian makes the right move and tells Giannina that he can’t marry her. Damian explains that Giannina may be all in RIGHT NOW, but that he knows she will change her mind, go back and forth, and, well, just be Giannina.
Giannina is crushed, but I think she knows this is for the best. It’s still sad to see, especially how upset Giannina’s parents appear. But not as upsetting as the next couple.

Kelly and Kenny: These two are equally chill and, frankly, sorta boring. In other words, they seem perfect for each other in my opinion. Kenny is ready to get married, but Kelly tells him no. Kelly explains that she just doesn’t feel it. From the start, it does seem Kelly has found a best friend, but not someone she actually wants to marry.
Kenny proved what a stellar guy he is, even Kelly’s mom whisper over to her husband how much she loves this guy. He’ll be just fine and find someone who appreciates him!
Lauren and Cameron: Yes! Our favorite couple both said “I do” and are off to start a happy live together. We never had any doubts Lauren and Cameron would get married, but are relieved to finally see it.
Amber and (Matthew) Barnett: Okay, this was a surprise. I truly thought Barnett would not be marrying Amber, she has given off a lot of red flags, but I guess Barnett doesn’t care about any of it and is ready to help Amber with her debt, work, housing, and makeup addiction. Congratulations! Jokes (sorta) aside, the two do make a good couple.

Jessica and Mark: Was anyone surprise that Mark said yes? Of course he wants to marry Jessica, he’s blind in love with someone who never has cared about him, even a little bit. Well, Jessica said no thanks and left Mark.
Jessica explains that she just doesn’t love him and that love is not blind, there needs to be a physical attraction, too. Finances come into play here, as well. Jessica has money, Mark does not. Jessica has her own beautiful home, Mark has roommates. Oh, and don’t forget that Jessica is 10 years older than Mark, which she reminds us about each chance she can. Jessica is incredibly bothered by the age gap, no one else is.
How do you feel about the weddings? Did your favorite couple end up tying the knot? At the moment there’s no season 2 news, but we’ll keep you posted!
