In the latest episode of Will & Grace, Joel McHale guest stars as Karen’s new love interest Phil, who Will and Grace fear might have bad intentions.

What feud? After rumors of a supposed behind-the-scenes feud have kept Debra Messing and Megan Mullally separate for most of Will & Grace’s final season (with Mullally’s Karen even being a no-show for two episodes), the on-screen besties and co-workers are finally sharing the screen. When Karen introduces Will and Grace to Phil (guest star Joel McHale), the supposed love of her life, her friends grow suspicious of Phil’s intentions. The title of the two-part episode does dub Phil “filthy.”

While Will and Grace help Karen through her latest adventure in love, Jack discovers that Miss Coco Peru (guest star Clinton Leupp) will be selling the bar Jack holds near and dear to his heart. Not wanting to see Miss Coco Peru’s legacy be replaced by some other bar, Estefan suggests that Jack take over the bar as its new owner. Unless Estefan has the money to buy the bar, it looks like Will will have get out his checkbook and become an investor in Jack’s new bar.

Where did Karen meet Phil, and how did she fall in love with him so quickly? What qualities do Will and Grace see in him that Karen doesn’t? Does Phil actually have “sinister intentions” for his relationship with Karen? And just why has he been given the name Filthy Phil?

What causes Miss Coco Peru to have to sell the bar? Why does Estefan think Jack should buy the bar, beyond his love for both Miss Coco and the bar? How could/would Jack run a business? Will he have to lean on Will, or can he embark on this endeavor on his own and finally grow up? A little, at least.

Be sure to catch the farewell season premiere of Will & Grace this Thursday to find out the answers to these question and see how the shenanigans unfold in the latest episode!
