30 Questions and thoughts during the Love is Blind finale
Love is Blind eventually had to come to an end, and the finale is just as juicy, shocking, and enjoyable as the rest of the insane experience.
Love is Blind is over. There are several questions and running commentary throughout the entire season of Love is Blind. There is a reason it has turned into a Netflix phenomenon. So I thought I’d share thoughts that many others probably had while watching the finale.
The first two comments are general Love is Blind commentary. Why didn’t any of the weddings get the traditional “Bridal Chorus” to make this feel like a real wedding? Secondly, the one huge surprise made it all worthwhile. Read no further unless you’re ready for spoilers.
Damian & Giannina
- Who else laughed obnoxiously when Giannina said she has always treated Damian with kindness? ORLY?
- Heartless or not, seeing Giannina fall was hilarious. The dress stain was a huge bonus.
- Damian knew he was going to say no. Why did his chin quiver more than an overweight marathoner’s calves at the 20-mile mark?

- Exploding Kittens: From card game to Netflix animated series starring Tom Ellis
- The Crown and more Netflix shows and movies to stream this week (November 13)

Barnett & Amber
- Amber sure did snap at her mother just before walking down the aisle. Massive red flag.
- Amber’s wedding dress was almost R-rated. How could Barnett say no?
- Barnett should have shaved for the occasion. His Joe Dirt growth was unbecoming.
- Was Barnett’s long delay just to give Amber a hard time? A reminder about the student loan perhaps?
Kenny & Kelly
- Kelly & Kenny should have offered meth hors d’oeuvre, because everything about them since the beginning has been incredibly bland.
- Kelly’s sister thinks Kenny is funny? LOL. How? Has he said one thing to make anyone other than Kelly laugh the entire ordeal?
- Did anyone else doze off listening to Kenny talk to his mother pre-wedding?
- Kelly’s dad couldn’t tame that Daniel Boone raccoon’s tail escaping from the back of his scalp?
- Did Kelly tip her hand before the wedding when she unveiled a new smile where she sticks the tip of her tongue between her teeth?
- Wow. Kelly said no to Kenny? Is she a bigger villain than Jessica?
- Kelly hopes Kenny can respect her decision to leave him at the altar?! Are you freaking serious? This isn’t freaking Sweet Home Alabama.
- Kenny is so milquetoast. He apologized to everyone after getting stood up at the altar. Bruh.
- Maybe if Kenny showed a little more of the passion he unleashed on the cameraman, and a little less of his typical Zoloft-sponsored personality, Kelly would have said yes.
Mark & Jessica
- Mark was sure Jessica was the one from the first time he “heard her voice”? Are you serious right now?
- Please tell me I’m not the only one surprised that Mark’s chess club groomsmen all competently pulled off the bro-hug.
- The day of Jessica’s wedding she’s downplaying Mark’s physical appearance and saying she’d never approach him in the real world. Um, OK.
- Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but Jessica had two friends show up and nobody to walk her down the aisle. Kind of reaffirming, isn’t it?
- Mark should have attended his own wedding wearing running shoes.
- Why were people looking around in shock when Jessica said no? The ending of Titanic is less uncertain.
- Jessica’s bridesmaid was oblivious when she said it was embarrassing for Jessica.
Cameron & Lauren
- I would have bet my entire life savings on Cameron crying during the wedding.
- Who else wanted the preacher to say “speak now or forever hold your peace” so Lauren’s father could object?
- I love me some Lauren, but couldn’t anyone tell her the middle of her plunging neckline was making her boobs awkwardly asymmetrical?
- Cameron’s beard game at the wedding was extremely STRONG.
- Did anyone else realize Lauren’s brother Nicholas was secretly Joel Embiid?
Love is Blind is one of the best reality shows ever. We all anxiously await the second season.
