Netflix: 5 other musicians who deserve a Netflix doc

Due to the success of Netflix releasing Miss Americana, which focuses on Taylor Swift, these are five other artists who deserve their own documentary film.

While documentaries weren’t always known for being entertaining, they have recently upped their game in the past few years. There are tons of different documentaries out there, focusing on a wide array of topics. Most notably, a lot of musical artists have released documentaries focusing on their careers. One of the most recent to be Taylor Swift’s Miss Americana on Netflix which has been widely discussed.

Considering that Taylor Swift is a pretty private person, it was a way to see into her private life but with her permission. She’s dealt with so much in career and getting to see those events through her eyes was incredible. Additionally, the Jonas Brothers released their own documentary which focused on their rise to fame and eventually, them getting back together as a band. Seeing a glimpse into their lives was a dream for fans but also a way to create an entirely new legion of fans for them.

Taylor Swift isn’t the only artist who has a documentary on Netflix. Lady Gaga and Beyonce both do as well. While it’s not exactly an original idea, there are a lot of other artists who deserve to tell their stories. Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Beyonce are just tipping points of what Netflix will unveil next. With the success of Taylor’s doc though, it makes you wonder what other artists Netflix could spotlight next.

In particular, these five artists are ones that have interesting stories that deserve to be told. Before getting started, all of these artists are going to be pop artists. Maybe I can do a follow-up focusing on another genre but for now, it’s all about the pop genre.
