After Madison left Australia, Peter was left with Hannah Ann. However, she considered leaving too. Peter decided to propose to Hannah Ann, knowing that this was the woman his parents (well, more like his mother) preferred.
Yet, after three months of being engaged, Peter couldn’t shake his thoughts of Madison. Unsurprisingly, Hannah Ann and Peter broke up. It doesn’t even look like Hannah Ann is all that upset. She’s annoyed at the time spent on the show and does love Peter, but he certainly needs to grow up and accept the weight his words have on others.
The Bachelor host, Chris Harrison, helped to shake things up more in the finale. Remember the filming in Madison’s hometown recently? That was for Chris to get Madison to return to the show and give love with Peter a second chance. And she did.
In the end, Peter and Madison are giving a relationship a chance. It’s an uphill struggle, though.
Not only has a lot been said in the past, but it’s clear that Peter’s mom doesn’t like Madison. She prefers Hannah Ann, and I get the feeling that she’s not going to embrace the idea of Madison being her daughter-in-law. She doesn’t like that Madison isn’t willing to compromise on her values (although she made it clear to Hannah Ann that neither she nor Peter should change) and she doesn’t think it’s going to work.
Of course, this doesn’t mean things won’t work out, but it is going to be difficult. Honestly, I don’t see this one working and it’s going to be linked more to Barbara than anything else.
