We all know the type of advice Dean will need. At the end of the last episode, JJ decided that she couldn’t be a mom. This was never something she wanted, so she packed her bags and left her child with Dean. Granted, Dean is the baby’s father, but that was a poor show from JJ. Brenda Song continues to impress me since her Suite Life on Deck days.

Dean will need Pruitt’s advice on raising a baby. Not just raising a baby, but raising a baby girl alone. Pruitt is the only person he knows who has done that and will be able to help. How did he raise Andy?

Speaking of Andy, she’s busy with the rest of her firefighters. After airing a few home truths at the station during the last episode, there are questions over whether they can all work together. Maya has been pushing things too much, forgetting the fact that these were supposed to be her friends. To be honest, Maya should never have been promoted to captain of this station. She should have been transferred and another captain brought in if she really had to be promoted.

While all that goes on, Sullivan needs help. During the last episode, he experienced a fentanyl overdose. He’s going to turn to Amelia Shepherd for help. While she certainly understands what it’s like recovering from addiction. Sullivan doesn’t seem ready to deal with his addiction.
