Lost Girls: The movie is based on the book of the same name by Robert Kolker. It stars Amy Ryan as Mari Gilbert, a mother desperately trying to find her daughter, Shanna, who has mysteriously gone missing. After learning Shanna is a sex worker, law enforcement is doing little to nothing to help, not taking the claim seriously. Gilbert takes on the search herself and discover the bodies of several girls, forcing the police and media to listen.
Elite: For something less emotional and impactful than Lost Girls, yet packed with drama, watch the third season of Spain’s Elite. Season 3 of the series follows the protagonists as they count down the final most at the prestigious institute.
