There’s been a lot going on in The Resident lately that’s taken the storyline away from Red Rock. Sadly, that wasn’t going to be the case forever. The Resident Season 3, Episode 18 brings Cain and Red Rock back with a vengeance.
Cain gives Devon and Nic an order. They’re to keep a patient alive at all costs. Every time she crashes, they need to revive her, only for her to crash again. It’s an awful cycle and one that Devon and Nic certainly don’t agree with. Of course, they want what’s best for the patient and this doesn’t seem like the best thing for the patient.

In the promo, Cain says that it’s to get the patient’s family to the hospital. Is that really true? Since when has he and Red Rock even cared about patients? It’s highly likely that the patient’s family members are donors to the hospital or good friends and that’s the only reason he’s doing what he can for them.
Meanwhile, Conrad is caught between friendship and duty. When Kit’s son-in-law comes into the hospital, Conrad is sure that he is suffering from a serious disease. It doesn’t look like Kit wants to believe that’s the case. Is that because she doesn’t want to admit something about her family or is it that she doesn’t trust Red Rock to care for her son-in-law?
The bad news to deliver with this live stream is that we won’t get a full season of The Resident this season. It was recently among the list of TV productions shut down due to the novel coronavirus.
