Meredith Grey faces problems in and out of the OR during her pro bono surgery day. Here’s what to expect and how to watch Grey’s Anatomy Season 16, Episode 18 live.

Who else is looking forward to a new episode of Grey’s Anatomy to take our minds off of things? I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been rewatching old episodes on Netflix this week. Luckily, the time has come for a new episode to air.

Kevin McKidd directed Episode 18, “Give a Little Bit,” which will highlight Meredith’s pro bono surgery day. How ironic is it that we will see Dr. Grey performing good deeds at this time when we could all use warm fuzzies? Here’s what we know so far.

More from ABC

Too many patients?

It’s pro bono surgery day at Grey Sloan, which means Meredith and her esteemed colleagues will tackle 25 surgeries in 12 hours. Wow! Since Mer can’t be in two places at once, she’ll have some of the finest docs assisting with Jo, Owen, Helm, and Hayes at the ready.

The promo teases lots of tension throughout the hospital as patients wonder when their surgeries will happen. My guess is complications in the OR will lead to delays and mass chaos as the day goes on. Of course, Meredith will have Tom Koracick in her ear to make sure she knows there’s a train wreck.

DeLuca in trouble?

Are we about to witness the next step in the MerLuca breakup? While Meredith is busy running around the hospital, DeLuca will treat a teenager who he believes is in great danger. Whatever his theory may be, he has to convince Bailey to get on board.

However, things may get dicey if the promo’s teasers are accurate. In what may be a Grey’s Anatomy first, a “code violet” will be called in the midst of the hospital’s chaos, signaling someone is getting violent with hospital staff. When the docs discover it’s DeLuca’s patient, you can bet there will be lots of questions asked.

Check out the nerve-wracking promo right here:

"Meredith heads up a pro bono surgery day, but the patient’s response causes her to struggle to keep things in order. DeLuca treats a teenage patient whom he suspects is in danger and desperately tries to get Bailey to support his theory."

Next. Are we really saying goodbye to Richard Webber?. dark
