What are you going to stream this weekend? Here are our top recommendations across some of the most popular streaming services, including Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus.

This is typically our weekly column where we chat about which movies are in theaters this weekend. But, as you surely already know, all theaters are closed, and the very few that are still open don’t have any new movie additions this weekend. All movies previously scheduled to premiere at the end of March and all of April (some May releases, too) have been pushed back indefinitely!

A few movies, such as Trolls 2: World Tour, are planning a VOD release, but until that date arrives, we are left to stream all our content! Remember when some of us complained about how there are too many streaming services? Well, who would have thought we would grow to appreciate them all this much? As we continue to practice social distancing, we need all the content we can get to distract us from these crazy times.

That said, here are the best shows and movies to stream on Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus and more! Let’s begin with Netflix:

Netflix

Feel Good: Mae (Mae Martin) is a stand-up comedian and recovering addict. She meets George (Charlotte Ritchie) and they embark on an intoxicating romance they are each trying to hang on to, realizing they have never felt this way about anyone else. Mae and George juggle their own personal lives, struggles, and try to share a healthy relationship. Stream it now on Netflix.

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and MadnessJoe Exotic is a self-proclaimed Tiger King, described in this Netflix documentary as a “mulleted, gun-toting, polygamist, and country western singer” who presides over an Oklahoma roadside zoo. He loves the attention and sharing his passion for big cats with others, but Carole Baskin, an animal activist and owner of a big cat sanctuary, wants to change his plans. It streams on Netflix March 20.

The Letter for the King: Tiuri (Amir WIlson), a young knight, rises to the challenge when a ruthless prince threatens the future of the world. The knight must deliver a secret letter to the king as a final attempt to stop the prince from casting the world into darkness. It streams on Netflix March 20.
