Due to the novel coronavirus, TV productions have gone on hold. That includes pilots for fall TV 2020. This means these 15 bubble TV shows could be safe.

Every season, there are some TV shows we worry more than others. These are the bubble TV shows; the ones that could go either way. In many cases, the live ratings are low and networks cancel them in favor of the new pilots.

Fall TV 2020 is going to be very different. With TV show productions on hold due to the novel coronavirus, pilots can’t film. That means networks don’t know whether the pilots will hold up against current bubble TV shows.

I like to try to find a silver lining within the bad. For TV shows, it could mean something good. It could mean some TV shows that were looking at being canceled could make it through another season.

Which TV shows are those? Here are 15 bubble TV shows that could make it through to the fall TV 2020 season due to postponed pilots.

15. Emergence

We’ll start with Emergence, which debuted in September 2019. The series centered on a young girl who survived a plane crash, which was cleared up within hours. Town sheriff Jo Evans needs to figure out who the girl is and where her parents are.

However, things quickly take a turn. Secrets come out that she never thought possible. A situation arises that she’d never considered, and soon her whole family is put at risk. Is it all worth it for this young girl, Piper?

The series didn’t quite capture the attention the cast and creators would have hoped for. It wasn’t as popular as ABC would have hoped. However, it’s one of the bubble TV shows that could grab a second season because of the postponed pilots.
