12. MacGyver

We’ll move away from the freshman shows for the time being. One of the bubble TV shows has only just returned with its fourth season, but is currently in danger. MacGyver was on the list of at-risk shows during the 2018-2019 season, and that’s the case once more.

A reboot of the 1980s drama, MacGyver tells us the story of a man who is hired to troubleshoot some of the world’s biggest problems. The systems to save the day are always crazy, which is what makes them so much fun for fans. However, the live ratings have dipped for a while.

With Hawaii Five-0 coming to an end and little to replace it on Friday nights, there is a chance that the postponed pilots will save MacGyver for a fifth season.

11. Duncanville

We’re back to the freshman shows and this time it’s all about the FOX animated comedy, Duncanville. FOX has a lot of success on Sunday nights with its Animation Domination line-up, but has struggled with the midseason new comedy.

Duncanville centers around 15-year-old Duncan, who is ready for the adult lifebenefits of cars, freedom, and girls. However, the reality involves being broke, babysitting his sister, and everything else a teenage boy definitely doesn’t want to do. Is there any hope?

With Almost Family already canceled, Duncanville is the lowest-performing show on the network. This would suggest cancellation but there is hope with little to replace it. Even though animation is still being created, it’s at a slower rate than normal, which continues to support the chance of it getting a second season.
