This is everyone’s last chance before the finale! The Biggest Loser will be down to the final three, and one step closer to the winner.

Steve Cook and Erica Lugo have worked the competitors of The Biggest Loser quite hard this season. The final challenge of the year is a mirror of the first challenge they had on campus. They’re going to run a mile, and the improved results will show just how far everyone has come the time they have been training. The winner will be the person who shows the most improvement from their initial run.

Quick note: Erica cries three or four more times this episode. Like normal. On to the ratings…

1. Jim DiBattista

Team: Red
Starting Weight: 385 lbs.
Breakdown: Jim has been an amazing story the entire season. He virtually never does well in the challenges, yet continues to dominate in the weight loss department. This is nothing new. He starts walking in what seems like 50-yards. Jim’s final time is just under 13 minutes, for an improvement of 36.79%. Good for Jim, but it’s a flawed challenge because of how slowly he ran it the first time.

Holy hell. This episode is when they show the video each contestant sent themselves. The Back to the Future video. Jim is a completely different person. The nearly 100 lbs. he has lost is immediately apparent. It’s amazing…maybe not Rachel Fredrickson amazing…but still crazy. No matter what happens in the finale, Jim is the winner while on campus.

Weight Loss: This episode, 10 lbs.; Total, 105 lbs.

2. Micah Collum

Team: Blue
Starting Weight: 326 lbs.
Breakdown: Coach Erica drives Micah this week, and it’s a weird change for the end of The Biggest Loser. She pushes hard enough that he nearly quits. Motivation is one thing, particularly for someone like Micah who has poor self-motivation, but it’s probably best if someone who knows his motivations (i.e. Coach Steve) and continues working with him.

When the mile challenge comes, he follows Steve’s pace and smokes everyone. The first time he ran the challenge everything inside was burning, and it’s not even remotely the same this time. He doesn’t stop the entire time. His time is 9:06 and improved by over 35%.

Michah’s blast from the past video is kind of different. He looks so different in the body, but his facial weight loss isn’t drastic. The message he sends himself is really inspirational. He even goes so far as to say he hates the guy on the screen (i.e. his former body).

Weight Loss: This episode, 8 lbs.; Total, 72 lbs.

3. Kyle Yeo

Team: Blue
Starting Weight: 302 lbs.

More from Reality TV

Breakdown: Kyle’s pace in this 1-mile run is way different than the original time. initially, he started out quickly and it wrecked him. This time, however, he’s much smarter about things and is able to push himself with a better pace. Even more, he doesn’t have to stop and breathe like he felt like he needed to the first time around.

Once Micah proves his motivation, Coach Steve drops back to pace Kyle. One quick moment of desperation reveals itself on an uphill, but Kyle pushes through for a very clear second place. Kyle comes in a little over 11 minutes for a 30% improvement.

Kyle’s personal message to himself definitely looks different. His face was much rounder. Speaking about the journey, Kyle speaks of himself in the 3rd and 4th person.

Weight Loss: This episode, 7 lbs.; Total, 63 lbs.

4. Teri Aguliar

Team: Red
Starting Weight: 256 lbs.
Breakdown: Shocker, the challenge is a 1-mile run, and Teri is not medically cleared.

It doesn’t matter, however, because her personal message to herself is staggering. She legitimately looks obese in the previous video, and it looks like a completely different person. Truly shocking how her body has transformed. She admits much of her struggle has been emotional and mental, just as much as physical. She doesn’t make it to the final, but it’s very clear she has come figurative miles in her weight loss journey.

Weight Loss: This episode, 1 lbs.; Total, 51 lbs.

5. Kristi McCart

6. Kim Davis

7. Megan Hoffman

8. Katarina Bouton

9. Delores Tomorrow

10. Domenico Brugellis

11. PhiXavier Holmes

12. Robert Richardson
