4. Seachange Seasons 1 and 2

Wile Barristers gives you a factual look at the court cases, Seachange is a fictional look. The 26 episodes from 1998 and 1999 take us through the life of a corporate lawyer who moves to a seaside town to become a local job. Everything in the corporate world crumbled around her and this is supposed to be her new start.

However, naturally, things don’t quite work out as our protagonist hoped. The Australia drama brings plenty of romance, emotion, and heartfelt storylines. This is the first time North American viewers have had the chance to see the series on a streaming service. Enjoy!

3. Land Girls Seasons 1 and 2

We’re going from the 1990s to World War II. You’ve likely heard of Land Girls. You may have even seen it on another streaming service. Now it’s time to catch it on Acorn TV.

The series follows four members of the Women’s Land Army, who work at the Hoxley Estate during the Second World War. While they knew they’d give up some of their lives for the war effort, they didn’t realize just how much their lives would change. We see the highs and lows of the four women, some of whom are making more sacrifices than others.

Land Girls Season 1 will be on Acorn TV on Apr. 6. The second season will follow on Apr. 20.
