With everything going on in the world, animated shows might be exactly what you need. If you’re stuck at home, these 5 shows could end up being a huge help.

In uncertain times, there isn’t much we have to hold onto. For the most part, a lot of our favorite movies and TV shows are being pushed back and or being released in other formats. As disappointing as it may be, that’s how the world is right now. It’s also an incredibly stressful time for those who aren’t working or are working from home. That doesn’t mean you have to let what’s going on in the world bring you down.

If you’re looking for something to help cheer you up, then watch some cartoons or animated shows. Just putting on an episode or two will help you relax and make being quarantined a little more bearable. Maybe you’re not a big fan of animated shows or you have no idea where to start? You’re in luck as we’re going to be talking about five animated shows to watch while you’re off work.

This list is going to include five animated series you can find on streaming services. If you’re an avid animated watcher, then this list probably isn’t going to help you. Rather, this is for those who want something quick and fun. All of the cartoons on the list aren’t going to be hard-hitting or dark as it won’t make you feel any better. Rather, these five shows are going to hopefully keep you calm and let you relax for a little bit during the day.

Before starting, there are a few guidelines. I’ll only be picking one show from each network/streaming service. If a show airs on Fox but streams on Hulu, I won’t feature other Fox shows, only others that stream on Hulu. Additionally, the list is going to be a mix of animated shows aimed at both adults and kids to give you some options. With those out of the way, let’s talk about animated shows.
