Tiger King is Netflix’s latest sensation, but at least one of the featured characters isn’t happy about the attention. Carole Baskin responds to backlash, saying she feels betrayed.

Carole Baskin is the founder of Big Cat Rescue and Joe Exotic’s biggest foe, according to Tiger King, well, and each other. Netflix’s docuseries Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness, is all the hype and more. If you haven’t watched it, you are missing out! And you’re all caught up, you’re likely not a fan of Carole. Though you may not feel the same way Joe feels about her, you’re probably still wondering what she thinks about the online haters.

Tiger King has done a lot of things for the people feature. It has inspired Joe Exotic’s case to get another look and promoted his zoo, but it has Carole Baskin isn’t so happy about how the docuseries turned out. Even though Carole agreed to be filmed and share footage of her sanctuary and recall details about her husband’s disappearance, Carole never could have imagined the finished product.

“When the directors of the Netflix documentary Tiger King came to us five years ago, they said they wanted to make the big-cat version of Blackfish that would expose the misery caused by the rampant breeding of big-cat cubs,” Harold Baskin, Carole’s third husband says in a video. Watch his video, below:

“There are no words for how disappointing it is to see that the docuseries not only does not do any of that, but has had the sole goal of being as salacious and sensational as possible to draw viewers,” Carole further states.

Where is Carole now? She continues to run Big Cat Rescue as best as she can and fighting to take down breeders. How do you feel about the Baskin’s video and comments? Does it make you side with them or are you still not convinced she’s innocent?
