In need of a wholesome comedy? Watch Kim’s Convenience Season 4, now streaming on Netflix!

This criminally underrated comey won my heart when I stumbled upon it while browsing Netflix. Kim’s Convenience is the sweet and wholesome comedy you are missing out on! Season 4 is now streaming on Netflix, but catching up to all the episodes isn’t difficult. Besides, what else are you doing? We know you’re at home looking for something to do or watch! Jokes aside, here’s what makes the series so great.

Kim’s Convenience features diversity. It follows the lives of a Korean-Canadian family who run a convenience store in Toronto. The parents are hilarious! Set in their ways about their culture and finding it difficult adjusting to modern technology and beliefs. Their youngest kid, Janet, still lives at home, but their oldest, Jung, moved out on bad terms.

Jung’s relationship with his father, Mr. Kim, is one of the main plots, but at the center of it all is love and family. The dynamic between the cast is incredible, they truly work and appear as a real family. The drama never runs too deep or is in it to keep you worried, it’s lighthearted and thoughtfully played out. An easy binge and great escape from today’s crazy world.
