Need a new movie to watch? Never Rarely Sometimes Always is now available on VOD.

Like most movies over the past several weeks, Never Rarely Sometimes Always has been pulled from theaters early and getting the Video On Demand (VOD) treatment! Never Rarely Sometimes Always is the latest movie from Focus Features. It opened in select theaters on March 13 and can be found on participating on-demand services such as Vudu, Prime Video, and Apple TV, on April 3, where you can rent the movie for $19.99.

As we continue to practice shelter-in-place and social distancing, renting a new movie is a lot of fun. I have to warn you, though, this isn’t an uplifting movie, at least not the way you may be thinking. If anything, Never Rarely Sometimes Always may bring you to tears!

The critically acclaimed, multi award-winning film follows Autumn (Sidney Flanigan) and her cousin Skylar (Talia Ryder) as they embark across state lines to New York City after Autumn learns she is pregnant. The girls have no support outside and only have each other. It’s a journey of friendship and compassion.

At Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has an excellent score of 98% from critics. However, audiences beg to differ, giving it a 55% rotten. Why do you think the huge difference is about? The controversial topic of abortion, perhaps? Watch the movie and judge for yourself!

How does renting a VOD release? After you begin watching, you’ll have the movie available for 48 hours. Other movies that have premiered on VOD with the same rent price and format, are The Hunt and The Invisible Man.
