There’s some bad news tonight. It’s The Resident Season 3 finale—an episode that hasn’t been written to be the finale. However, we’re going to make the most of it, right? Here’s how to watch The Resident Season 3, Episode 20 live.
We’re heading into this episode with a lot of fear for Kit’s son-in-law. He was put on a vent as he was struggling through his cancer treatment, but it turns out that vent is the same one that Dawn Long used. That wouldn’t usually be a problem if it wasn’t for the fact that Dawn Long had a superbug and the vent hadn’t been decontaminated before being used.

With his current health condition, it’s clear that Kit’s son-in-law is in a dangerous situation. His immune system isn’t going to be able to fight against the superbug. The question is whether Conrad will know that there’s a superbug risk to this patient in enough time to do something. It’s not like Cain was upfront about the superbug.
Meanwhile, Cain has a personal storyline. A former girlfriend is in the hospital and needs surgery. He wants to be the one to do it, but we know that people with personal connections shouldn’t be operating on patients. Will Nic force Cain off the case or will everything go wrong because of Cain’s connection? Is this the beginning of the end for Cain?
Annoyingly, we’re not going to see a complete end to the Cain/Red Rock storyline. The Resident Season 3 still have some episodes to film before filming was shut down. It’s possible that this was the beginning of the end, but now we need to hope that there’s going to be a fourth season. FOX hasn’t confirmed it yet but there’s hope that Season 4 will happen.
