Charmed Season 2 is coming to Netflix in May 2020

If you’ve been waiting for Charmed Season 2 to come to Netflix to binge-watch it, you’re in luck. It was on the list of May 2020 releases.

We knew that Charmed Season 2 would eventually come to Netflix, but we didn’t have a certain date until recently. It was on Netflix’s May releases, so there isn’t long to wait to binge-watch the season.

Like the first season, Charmed Season 2 is heading to the streamer, but it’s not eight days after the season finale. The eight days rule is part of the legacy deal between Netflix and The CW, but things have been a little weird this year. Due to the coronavirus, shows haven’t filmed their intended finales and have come to an end sooner than expected. That may have forced a change in when Netflix is able to put shows on the streaming service.

That’s okay! At least we now know that all 18 episodes of the season will be available from May 9, 2020. This is the same day that Grey’s Anatomy Season 16 is heading to Netflix.

The second season has been a bit of a reboot of the reboot. After the events from the Season 1 finale and an attack on their lives in the Season 2 premiere, the three sisters and Harry have to go into a sort of witch’s witness protection. It means relocating to Seattle, where they get the chance to meet new faces. Of course, old foes turn up along with new ones.

Personally, I’ve found the second season stronger than the first. There’s also a third season confirmed, so all those unanswered questions after the abrupt finale will be answered.
