Dead to Me Season 2 and more coming to Netflix in May 2020
By Callum Gunn
Not sure what to watch next month? Netflix has you covered with plenty of new arrivals, from Dead to Me Season 2 to movies like Underworld.
Are you ready for a new month of great new releases? While broadcast networks are running out of content, streamers are the places to turn. Netflix has a bunch of excellent new additions, including Dead to Me Season 2, Medici: The Magnificent‘s final part, and much more. Here’s a look at the full list.
When it comes to notable mentions, Dead to Me Season 2 is a must. It’s a comedy that hooked us all quickly and the second season promises to be just as good. The new trailer also teases a surprise return!
When it comes to coming-of-age dramas, The Half of It is a must. Nancy Drew‘s Leah Lewis stars as a teenager who gets straight As and does others’ homework for cash. It’s a great business, but what happens when one boy asks her to write love letters to a girl? You would think it would be a case of girl falls in love with boy, right? WRONG! It’s girl falls in love with girl, bringing us a progressive, inclusive, and exciting coming-of-age movie.
More from Netflix
- Bridgerton season 3: All the details to know about Penelope and Colin’s love story
- It’s a slow week on Netflix with only three new releases (Nov. 20)
- Exploding Kittens: From card game to Netflix animated series starring Tom Ellis
- The Crown and more Netflix shows and movies to stream this week (November 13)
- Escaping Twin Flames and more harrowing love-centered documentaries to watch on Netflix
Medici: The Magnificent certainly entertained and now it’s time for the second part (or the third season, as it’s also being dubbed). Lorenzo is driven by revenge this season, and we’re about to see how it all ends.
Of course, there are also some great third-party additions. Grey’s Anatomy Season 16, Charmed Season 2, and Dynasty Season 3 are part of the list of new arrivals this month. Get ready for plenty of content to stream.
There are also some notable exits this month. Say goodbye to all seasons of Scandal, top movies like What’s Eating Gilbert Grape and Dear John, and much more.
