In the Season 4 finale of Riverdale, Jughead plots a revenge fantasy against Mr. Honey as they continue to investigate the videotapes.

Two episodes earlier than intended, Riverdale Season 4 comes to an end with a makeshift season finale that sounds no less thrilling than a true finale. Following Mr. Honey’s shutdown of Kevin’s tickle video business (an interesting sentence), the gang bands together in revolt of all the ways their new principal has ruined their senior year.

Jughead receives a letter from the University of Iowa, more than likely for their Writer’s Workshop, and opts to pen a twisted tale of their revenge fantasy of killing Mr. Honey. How he thinks that’ll get him admitted and not arrested, who knows.

Elsewhere in the season finale of Riverdale, the rest of the gang continues to pick up the pieces from last week’s fallout. Betty opted not to act on her feelings with Archie, even after he wrote her a love ballad. Being so, Archie decides to move forward with the Naval Academy, while Veronica partners with the enemy — her father — on her rum business.

However, the strangest twist might have been Cheryl becoming the latest to receive a haunting videotape depicting a murder, this time of Clifford killing Jason. Let’s not forget that Mr. Honey frequents the video store…

Will the gang seek actual revenge on Mr. Honey, or will they limit their payback to Jughead’s written word? Why does Jughead think writing about killing his high school principal will get him admittance into one of the most prestigious writing programs in the country?

Is Archie really headed for the Naval Academy? Does Veronica regret her decision to team up with Hiram? Can the tickle business make a comeback? Will the season finale offer any answers about the videotapes? Does Mr. Honey have anything to do with the chilling, voyeuristic tapes?
