Now streaming on Netflix: Dead to Me Season 2
By Rishi Patel
The highly-praised Netflix series Dead to Me is back with more action in Season 2.
Netflix Original Dead to Me first premiered last May to a great reception from audiences. Now, after a year-long wait, the much-anticipated Season 2 is streaming on the service.
Consisting of 10 episodes, Season 1 focused on a struggling new widow named Jen (Christina Applegate) after her husband Ted was struck and killed in a hit-and-run accident. As part of the healing process, the dark comedy shows Jen going to therapy and meeting a new friend in Judy (Linda Cardellini), a lady who lost her fiancé to a heart attack. The two women form a solid friendship, but little does Jen know that Judy is always attracting trouble, and is the one responsible for Ted’s death.
The first season ended on a major cliffhanger as Jen kills Steve (James Marsden), Judy’s fiancé who was supposedly dead. Now, the suspense-filled second season will focus on the two women harboring this fact and trying not to get caught amidst the mess that has been created. In turn, that creates a lot of tensions, secrets, investigations, and drama.
