Our favorite fictional first responders have taken over our Monday nights. What about tonight? Will there be an episode of 9-1-1 Season 3 on May 18?
We’re heading into the time of year when fall shows start to take a break. Is that the case for 9-1-1 Season 3? Will there at least be a rerun on tonight, Monday, May 18?
I’ve got a lot of bad news for you right now. I’m sorry to say that 9-1-1 Season 3 aired its finale last Monday. It was the big train crash that saw Buck and Abby meet after two years apart. We found out some of what Abby had been doing and see Buck be a man about the whole situation. We were also left with some big questions for the confirmed fourth season.
There isn’t a rerun on tonight, either. With The Masked Singer Season 3 finale airing on Wednesday, FOX is opting for reruns of the last few episodes. This is a chance for fans to check out the clue packages again and see if there’s anything they missed. Plus, those who missed some of the reveals like Astronaut and Rhino can see them again.
While there is some good news in 9-1-1 Season 4 being confirmed, we’re not getting it until January 2021 at the earliest. It’s not that the show doesn’t belong in the fall lineup, but that filming can’t happen right now with lockdowns around the world. Hopefully, filming can happen by the end of the summer or start of the fall, which will allow time to get thorugh filming and post-production for January.
It sounds like there will be some crossovers between 9-1-1 and spin-off 9-1-1: Lone Star. This probably won’t be on the level of the Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 crossovers since the two 9-1-1 shows take place in different cities, but we may see a firefighter borrowed or some Zoom calls or something like that.
